Working with customers to create their own one-of-a-kind accessory also gives me the opportunity to experiment with new designs and yarn materials, and helps me grow as a crafter and designer.

5 out of 5 starsIf I could give customer service more stars, I would. I worked with Denise from start to finish on this project, which is a super cool beanie-to-balaclava design. It all started with a random instagram video of the a model wearing the design. It was not being sold, but so many people in the comments wanted to buy. NiseyKnits said she could make it, so I responded to the comment and we ended up dm-ing about materials and colors. They got to work right away with a custom piece and shipped it as soon as possible. It just arrived and I have already shown my item off to friends and family.

5 out of 5 starsI literally screamed when this arrived in the mail. It's stunning and exceeded all expectations. The craftsmanship is incredible and the quality and color just blew me away. I bought this as a gift, but with 4 days until Christmas, we'll see if it actually makes it under the tree or if I break and keep it for myself. The jury is still out! :)

In May 2006, my supervisor at the college library where I worked gave me a pair of US #8 needles, a ball of yarn, and an hour-long knitting lesson as my graduation present. Years later I’m still designing and knitting my fingers off.
